| Our scholarship moneys are awarded to high school students who have a desire to work hard to increase their musical abilities over the summer. It is our privilege to help them continue to hone their talents. Here are some of the comments they have made when they have returned from their summer programs ...

Thank you all so much for the scholarship. Without it I would not have been able to go [to] the Skidmore Jazz Institute. Thankfully I was able to attend and good I did. I learned so much over just two weeks. Now I have things to work on for the next 3 years. What you all do is a great thing. You make a lot of young musicians happy. Thank you for giving me scholarships for Senior SYMS this year! Without financial help from you, I wouldn't have been able to go. I got into Swain band, and honors Jazz band! I would like to thank the Freese Brothers Big Band for the $300.00 scholarship I have received. It has been put towards the cost of attending Senior SYMS at UNH at the end of this month.
